Weekend Update

January 8, 2017

Happy Sunday! This weekend has gone by too fast, but I think most weekends feel like they aren't long enough, right? Georgia had some snow yesterday. You'd seriously think we had found out the world was coming to an end. Friday everyone left work early to try to "get home before the snow" (flashbacks to "snowpocolypse 2014") and the supermarkets were like The Hunger Games. In the end we didn't get that much snow and we were able to drive again after lunch, so not very exciting. Nonetheless the weekend was mostly spend indoors catching up on my shows and coming up with new #content for the blog. That being said, I've come across a few things lately that I wanted to share - because I really enjoyed them and they made me happy - so hopefully they'll do the same for you!

Anthropologie
I'm almost scared to admit this, but in the past I was not the biggest Anthro fan. It just never really fit my style and I found the stores a bit too overwhelming, but lately I have been in LOVE with it. Seriously, I'm on the website all the time. There's a store really close to where I work so every so often I will just go in to "browse". Just being in the store makes me so happy! I don't understand it, but I won't question it. Anyway, I'm loving so many things from there and I want to buy it all! Like I mentioned in my last post, I'm in the process of switching up my style and I have a feeling Anthropologie will be taking up a lot more space in my closet very soon.

The Millennial Paradox
I saw this video after someone posted it on Facebook and I've been obsessed with it ever since. It's kind of like a TED talk, but basically this guy is explaining why people find Millennials so different (and difficult to work with). It's fascinating to listen to if you're a Millennial, or if you're at all interested in psychology type things. It's only about 15 minutes, so definitely take some time to watch. It's an eye opener.

Disney Instagram Accounts
My next trip to Disney is less than a week away and I could not be more excited! I've been waiting for this for months and now that it's finally here I find myself being a bit obsessive when it comes to following Disney themed Instagrams. Just looking at pictures of Disney really hypes me up. Some of my favorites are: OhYeahDisney, Disney Single Rider, Abby Corkins, The Pixie Traveler, DisneyWithSara and The Addictive Side of Disney (just to name a few!). These people seriously deserve major credit for being so amazing at capturing the magic of Disney!

Gillian At Home
I discovered Gillian's YouTube channel, Gillian At Home, back in March when literally all I did all day everyday was watch people's vlogs from their trips to Disney World (I was in a Post-Disney Depression) and she quickly became one of my favorite vloggers! Her vlogs from her trips to Disney are absolutely hilarious (especially when she goes with her sister) and I began rewatching them this past week. I usually watch them as I'm getting ready for work because they not only get me psyched for my own trip to Disney, but they just generally put me in a great mood. She's very positive and very real so you feel like you're talking to a friend. I highly recommend checking out her videos!

How To Worry Less
One of the things I've been trying to do the last few months has been to worry less. I always find myself worry about things before they even happen and in my mind I make the situation seem much worse than it actually is. My mom always tells me "don't worry trouble", meaning don't make something out of nothing. I try to remember that, and sometimes it helps, but other times it doesn't. I have found these tips on Pinterest and I think they'll be very helpful in just reminding me to worry about things so much.

Hope you all had a great and safe weekend. Remember, a Sunday well spend brings a week of content!
