Hello & Welcome to Sincerely Unfabulous! A fashion, lifestyle & beauty blog started by two best friends, Sarah and Tara (yes, our names are super similar). We met our freshman year of High School when we sat next to each other in homeroom and bonded over our obsession with Dance Moms and lifelong love for Disney World. Then, we both went our separate ways for college, but remained in constant contact by texting every day and meeting up every break. Amazingly, our friendship grew stronger even though we were in two different states!
Having both just graduated from college, we are once again separated, but still talk every single day. Tara is in New York, pursuing her dream of becoming an actress, and Sarah is in Atlanta working in a corporate marketing job. We're both on very different paths, but working towards the same goal - achieving our dreams and having a blast along the way!
We started Sincerely Unfabulous as the creative outlet we never knew we needed. Why the blog name, you ask? Well, people don't really tell you how much of a mixed bag your twenties can be. Right now we are in that weird part of life where the world is at your fingertips, but you're not totally sure what to do with it. You have the chance to do some pretty cool things, but you're also going to have struggles and you're going to make a lot of mistakes. Here you'll find our collection of thoughts, experiences and, yes, pitfalls on our path to "adulthood".
We have a lot to share, but are still learning along the way, so follow along as we tackle life in different ways, but with the same end game in mind. We like sarcasm, good eats and laughing until we cry - but you can get to know us a little better below.
